Printmaking in the Studio all Weekend

I am producing lots of Monotype prints and some are even good. The Challenge to walk and gather objects to print with each day has been a good one. I have been using the Daniel Smith water soluable inks. I really like the rich color that they produce. The prints have been drying in a few days which is pretty good too.

I found a build your own etching press website. I ordered the plans. I am lucky to have my studio in a machine shop. We will see how it goes with pricing the cost of materials.

I was able to mat and frame two fun gelatin Monotype prints for the Newburyport Art Associations Fall Members Show. I will drop them off tomorrow, and hope that they get into the show.
