More ATC Gelatin Prints

Today I worked on top of some of the tiny gelatin prints that I started the other day.  I was pleased with how a few of them developed.  I played with a pre-cut stencil and I enjoyed the effect. I think it helps to keep the design simple when the prints are this small.  I had a mat cut to the atc(artist trading card) size so that I could check how the composition is going. http://www.linda-germain.com/

Gelatin Prints – ATC size

Today I am playing with gelatin printmaking and artists’ trading cards.  I am working with a piece of gelatin that is about 3″ by 4″ and then I can trim the image down to 2.5 by 3.5.  It is a challenge to go that small.  I am finding that I need to change the type of tools that I use to make marks and to simplify the image.  Last week I went to an ATC workshop at Lynn Arts.  It was fun to be inspired by the processes of other artists. Enjoy! http://www.linda-germain.com/
