I have been working on about 30 prints – just building up layers with thread, stencils and ink. They go from dark to light, dull to bright and back and forth again and again. There are always parts of the gelatin print that I like. I am always surprised. www.linda-germain.com

Today was too hot to print with the gelatin plate. I had to run up to NHIA to pick up some artwork that had been on exhibit. I sought refuge in the public library were there was AC and things to draw. I did some sketches of people plants and sounds of the library. Last night I had a great visit with Pat Lutz, owner of the Artists’ Playground in Newburyport. www.linda-germain.com
