Joy – Peace and Stacks of gelatin

I have been thinking about creating joy and peace and how I often create stife and struggle.  Hmm?  The choices I make.  Well I will have another chance to choose peace and joy in just a second.  Today somehow I “lost” the only key to my car somewhere between the ignition and the front door of my house. I did find it between the seat and the console.  But now I know what I want for Christmas.  A key to my car – simple. I have 2 stacks of gelatin in my refrigerator – one very old and ready for the trash can and one fairly new. What to print?  Or do I just begin and see where it goes. http://www.linda-germain.com/

Making Progress

Today I had most of the day to myself in the studio.  I made progress on this simple quilt that I am putting together from old shirts.  I figured out how to print on to my Christmas cards and I participated in an online art exchange.  Now I am off to a Christmas party – lots of food and people and fun.

Holiday art exchange with my Mixed Media friends

Today the holiday parties begin.  I am gathering with some mixed media friends to trade art supplies and eat good food.  I walked around my messy studio looking for unwanted art supplies and I was amazed at how reluctant I am to give away stuff that has potential.  I did loosen up and was able to find a box of stuff that I can part with.

Enjoy! http://www.linda-germain.com/index.html
