I think you may have most of these supplies in your studio.
Book Form:
- 90 lb drawing paper or similar heavy weight drawing paper

make the books 6” tall and 4.5” wide. The unfolded page is 6” by 9” I use the 90 lb drawing paper. https://www.dickblick.com/items/pacon-sulphite-drawing-papers-12-x-18-white-500-sheets/There is no waste when I get this 12 x 18 size. I use this paper for gelatin printing too. It lasts a long time. Of course you can make the book any size that fits your needs. I would keep it around that same size, so it is compact and easy to fill.
- brown paper bags
- waxed book binding thread or beeswax and embroidery thread
- curved needle
- awl, push pin or nail
- Paper cutter
Mark Making tools – use what you have and like
- waterproof drawing pen
- pencils
- watercolors
- markers
- pastels or crayons
- white glue, PVA
- exacto-knife, scissors
- white pen
- small flat containers for collage paper
- black ink or walnut ink or both
Other stuff –
- angel cards or other inspirational cards or we can make a set
- stacks of magazine
- phone camera
- leaves
To make folded ruling pen:
- soda can
- scissors
- pencil or stick
- fine sand paper
- electrical tape
