Thermo fax screens and experiments |
Today I went to the fabulous fiber studio at Western Ave Studios in Lowell. Linda Branch Dunn took us on a Thermo fax adventure. WE got to print on fiber or fabric and make screens from our own images too. Oh my goodness – I think I have a new addiction. I managed to make about 20 small screens. I finished all the edges with duct tape when I got back to my studio. I used all the tape I had in the house. What a perfect first day of april. Happy Printing.

Be very careful Linda! Take it from me – It is very addictive! How do I know? Hooked! I have 4 Gocco machines and I’m on the look out for a big thermofax machine!

thanks for the warning sally!
I had a wonderful time, too. Come by and make more screens, anytime.
Wasn’t it a great workshop? I had a ball and ordered two screens from an online source when I got home. Ha!
I thought of a name for this approach to “printing” off all of the ink. don’t waste a drop, or really green printing or making the most of your ink. I must get printing. Thanks again for the fun!
