Gelatin Print 4″ x 6″
Linda Germain
At the last minute I was asked to be part of the Olde Ipswich Days craft fair. So I will be at the South Village Green, Rte 1A Ipswich, MA with my scarves and original prints. I hope to see some old friends and make some new ones.
How do you get backgrounds that are not all one color like that? I love them! I love all of your prints! I’m so excited to find a process I can use at home so easily! Do you buy gelatin in bulk for making plates? If so where do you buy it?
HI there, This print was with Daniel Smith inks. I started with blue. Made the first “shape” print and before I picked up the stencils I rolled the yellow over a couple of areas. I also rolled fresh blue on the left and put down a piece of grass to create the white shape. the gelatin is old too so it is creating interesting marks and colors.
