Black birds, shibori and stitching

I love these bird stencils that I cut.  I was afraid to ruin the print below and have been torturing myself with how to finish it off.  So I made these small prints and played with machine quilting. They look good in a 10″ square frame with a mat. I have been thinking about why I might be attracted to the crow/raven.  They are everywhere, especially at the farm.  They are known to be intelligent, communicators, soloist and from the dark side of self.
