I am priming and gluing things tonight. I am going to do 20 seven inch square boxes. I started the collages on paper so I am gluing a few of them to the boxes and priming some other. Found a couple more interesting books today while browsing at Michaels Craft store. Acrylic Revolution: New Tricks and Techniques for Working with the World’s Most Versatile Medium (Spiral-bound) and Rethinking Acrylic: Radical Solutions For Exploiting The World’s Most Versatile Medium (Spiral-bound). I am interested in learning more about how to use the different acrylic mediums.
I found a somerset magazine Artful blogging Interesting too.
Both are great books to have on your shelf. Acrylic Revolution got me to sign up for my first acrylics painting class, with Elizabeth DaCosta Ahern, over at Lesely/AIB.
I think we’re reading all the same books! The Dorothy Simpson Krause book is great too, although I haven’t tried any of the bindings.
Lots of times I just browse the books, but this time I am trying to do some of the projects. thanks.
