I am so enjoying looking through your blog and also did find the videos on YouTube very useful too. I am going to have a go at this gelatin print thing.
How did you get started working in this method? Is it a avery old technique or what? Do you know who first worked in this way.

Well a friend of mine wrote a book ‘Making Monotypes Using a Gelatin Plate’ on the process and I saw her do demo. I borrowed the book and just started playing. She learned it from the inventor Fran Merritt back in the 1970’s. It is quick and fun and unpredictable. Give it a try. I would love to see your results.
