©linda germain 2012 gelatin monotype prints with Daniel smith water soluble ink |
For me when the weather is warm it is the time to use my Daniel Smith water soluble block printing inks on my gelatin plates. The inks seems to roll out better when it is warm. I have learned to go with the flow and use these inks in the summer. I love that the colors are rich and deep. I also like that the ink dries fixed.
I am happy to share that I have a couple of spots available in my Gelatin Printmaking Two Hour Teaser class on Wednesday, August 1st, from 6-8 at my studio in Haverhill, MA. You could give the Daniel Smith inks a try.

I am having a blast reworking my prints into cards and may have to come to your late August workshop to restock and play some more.
Glad that you are having blast!!!! I have learned some more tricks that I am eager to share and there are still a couple of spaces for the August class. http://printmakingwithoutapress.blogspot.com/p/workshops.html I still have to get playing with all my thermofax screens. http://lindabranchdunn.blogspot.com/ so much art making so little time/!
